'Hungry Hen Starting Spanish' is a Spanish learning game that involves both exciting game-play and multiple choice quiz questions that help to reinforce the recall of words of key Spanish vocabulary. In this keyboard-controlled game, the learner must cross roads and rivers whilst also avoiding hazards such as moving cars. To progress through varying challenging levels (which help to maintain learner interest) quiz questions must be answered correctly. With each new level an increasing number of quiz questions are asked. The 'gaming' nature of the resource would be particularly suitable for SEN and disaffected learners.
